Areas of Focus

Here is how we’ve worked with you since 2013 to reach orphans in Bolivia

Discipleship

Through weekly prayer and Bible study with staff as well as the children, we seek to make discipleship an integral part of our work. Each of our homes also independently provides Bible study and worship time led by our Chaplain or program coordinators. Partnership with the local church is key to discipleship as well as service opportunities.

Family Style Homes

Our partners provide comprehensive care to vulnerable children by meeting their physical needs, working to heal past traumas, and providing emotional and psychological support. We do work in each of these areas in loving and compassionate ways to point children to Christ and ultimately demonstrate God’s love for them. Our current ministry provides care in 4 different homes to children and young adults.

Transition Homes

We provide a transition program to help individuals aging out of orphan care prepare for independence in a safe environment. We aim to help participants grow and mature spiritually, emotionally, and financially by encouraging higher education and the pursuit of basic life skills.

Our ultimate goal is to help each young adult graduate from our program with a deeper relationship with Christ and the ability to break the cycle of poverty and abandonment that they were born into.

Indigenous Adoption

Our goal is to get children into loving families. By working with local social workers, we support indigenous adoption efforts.

Seeing a family restored is one of our greatest joys at Fundación Esperanza and is a great reminder of God’s restoration power. 2 Corinthians 13:9 says, ‘For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. Your restoration is what we pray for.’ We pray that Christ continues to restore families in Bolivia in ways that only He can.”
